Welcome to the Show Me Some TDs podcast. This week's episode is brought to you by Happy Customs LLC and now the Commissioner and Ed Winning. As promised, we are back with the TD Tuesday, another episode of the Show Me Some TDs podcast. And man, first of all, it's one thing, when you get your predictions right, but like in the manner of what you're predicting, and everything like that is the best. So I will start with, before we get into it, the Jaguars got their very first win of the season. Hey, man, I mean, how do you feel? I mean, I feel like they look better, but they were playing the Colts with Joe fucking Flacco. What's up?
Speaker 2:Well, that's the thing you know. Actually, joe Flacco played pretty damn well for playing with the Colts here. I know he got a little bit of chemistry last year when Anthony Richardson went out, but just from a local Jaguars fan on the West Coast, I'm super happy to see him win. Not a lot of West Coast Jags fans, so shout out to all the Jags fans out here on the West Coast we got to come together but at the end of the day winning on a field goal. I'm not super excited about it, but I'll take the dub.
Speaker 1:I feel like they did look better. To be fair, offensively, travis Etienne was not. He did I mean, it looked like he started off good, yeah, but man, I would think Tank Bigsby is actually kind of what we expected, is actually going to go over and take that role over as the lead running back. He performed pretty well. Going to be honest, I'm trying to get him in the waiver wires. I'm trying to get him. I have Aaron Jones on a bye week, actually, so he's on a bye week. He has a hip injury, so it's good. The bye week came at a perfect time, so I'm trying to get some Tank Bigsby in my lineup.
Speaker 2:Yo, you know, I think a lot of people are probably going to pick up Tank Bigsby. I got to double check his stats but I'm pretty sure he had 70 plus yards here rushing. I think he had two touchdowns this time, my man, that's what I'm saying. You know there's murmurs in the Jags organization about whether we're going to extend out an offer, you know, for an extension for Travis Etienne next year. I'm still a big Travis Etienne fan. I really am. Tank is coming in and doing what Tank does.
Speaker 1:His pass-catching ability is what separates him from a lot of running backs. I think that, dude, I mean he's an excellent receiving running back. But there was another prediction before we get too far. So I got that right. You're mad, you're like, I hope you're. You know, you're like last year. Every time you picked the Jags they lost. Well, I picked them, they win. But I also said Taco was gonna get his first win of the season and he did and it was against you, my friend.
Speaker 2:You know I told you I couldn't live this down if he won, and I'm even making some last minute decisions to get Blake Groupie, as a kicker, to hopefully win, which, by the way. I hate you, blake Groupie. Hey, derek Carr, derek Carr just does not look at Chris Olave, and those are two of the main players that lost me this week. You know Taco's in the other room right now and I just want to say I hate you, taco.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we appreciate you, taco. We're shooting the podcast at your place right now, man. But real talk, the Saints, it's been crazy. So yeah, derek Carr is a bum. If you've ever watched any shows that I've ever been on, I've always talked about how he's a bum. He's a real mid 500 quarterback. He's not doing anything to win you games. He will do things to lose you guys games and I don't know, I don't like Derek Carr. I never really have. You know, Tim Raiders fan was like man. Could you imagine if he was still with the Raiders? We saw what happened with these Raiders. He Could you imagine if he was still with the Raiders? We saw what happened with these Raiders. He did the same shit that he's doing right now.
Speaker 1:But the crazy part is is like for a minute, I think the Saints had a crazy. So what did they start out with? Like they were scoring crazy points, right, I think their first two weeks. Let's see really quick Against the Panthers they had 47 points and then against the Cowboys they had 44 points. The next week after that they had 12 against the Eagles. The week after that they had 24. So not too bad, but their offense just really just hit a wall. After those first two weeks we're like, wow, dude, they're almost scoring 100 points these first two weeks and you know, they've absolutely just fallen off the face of the planet and, I hate to say it. The Chiefs are undefeated as well. Um, I hate the Chiefs, but they absolutely eliminated Alvin Kamara in the run game. I think he hit 29 total yards, or rushing yards anyway. Uh, completely shut him out of the game.
Speaker 2:I mean, that was wild and, to be honest, you know, for what it's worth, most of the Saints offense here at the beginning of the season was, uh, alvin Kam on. I mean you gotta give it to the guy. He is right. Yeah, he's an awesome dual threat running back, to be honest. And in the other part of the offense you know I hate to say it because again I have Chris Olave on my team I hate that he's not getting the opportunities that he should get as a wide receiver one being a good one at that. Uh, you know. But the other part of the offense is Derek Carr just throwing it downfield and saying Rasheed Shaheed is down there somewhere. He's going to catch it and in the very first.
Speaker 1:I think it may be the first or second drive, but he had him wide open. I mean, he's wide open and you see him, he had the little basketball thing where he left it up there, dude, and he overthrew him by four or five yards. I'm like, dude, that's one of the fastest guys in the NFL, he's one of the fastest guys on your team, and you completely overthrew him wide open for a touchdown. Maybe that changes the trajectory of the game. But you know, I'm just, you just don't know, and you punt the ball, you give it to Pat Mahomes and I'm pretty sure they went right down and scored a touchdown.
Speaker 2:I hate the Chiefs and I hear you there. I told you before last week that I like watching them, but I hate. I hate one that they're 5-0. I hate one that they're 5-0. I hate two that they're coming together and so balanced, so nicely. You know, I do think that the trajectory of the game probably changed a little bit. You know, I've got to double check. I'm not sure if I heard this correctly, but I'm pretty sure that this was the first time this season that the Saints have let the opposing team score on their first drive, and obviously warranted, because of that pick that was thrown by Derek Carr. Again, you're bummed, you're bummed the oblique injury.
Speaker 1:Yeah right, dude, I mean they should have kept Winston, they should have put him. I'm just sorry, dude, I'm not a Derek Carr fan. Dude. David Carr was your brother. I did like him. He was in a shitty situation. I still think he was better than you, you bum, anyway, man.
Speaker 1:So before we get too far into the NFL stuff that did happen last night, monday Night Football, I do want to go over some big news in the NFL and I'm sure you've already heard about it, but it's the Robert Sala news getting the ax today and it's big news. I mean it is because I, like I was mentioning about the quarterbacks and how they kind of dictate the whole organization. I mean this is the owner himself, I, he, I think I heard that he didn't talk to the gm. He just straight up like this is my, this is my decision. I'm moving on from robert sala.
Speaker 1:There were supposed talks that he, uh, what was his name? Woody johnson, I think that his name. Uh, he's the owner of the jets. He had a talk with aaron rogers after monday night football and rogers was like no, we didn't talk about robert sala, bullshit. I mean, uh, sala even said there was um, you know, they were looking at firing nathaniel hackett but ultimately sala got the axe and it's um, I don't think it's fair, like I think he's actually a defense, a good, decent coach, defensive minded coach. And, let's be honest, the defense was not the problem, it was the Jets offense, it is Aaron Rodgers it's kind of one of those scapegoat uh conversations.
Speaker 2:You know to kind of put the blame on Robert Sala. You know I was listening to a couple of things and obviously Zach Wilson isn't there to. You know, have that anymore. You know I was looking at that. Uh, you know that report with the Woody Johnson thing, something about him being the ambassador to the UK. Obviously they lost in the UK, probably got some friends that were a little upset about that. Uh, but the whole taking it under your own, you know, uh decision to uh to fire him, not consulting Aaron Rogers, not really consult, barely consulting Joe Douglas. So I think the, the GM, the GM there, uh, it's kind of crazy to me. Honestly I'm a big fan of Robert Sala.
Speaker 2:When he first came out of the?
Speaker 2:Uh the Niners came over to the Jets, I thought it was going to be good.
Speaker 2:You know I looked at a couple things here that I saw and granted, you know, with him being 20 and 36 through three seasons, uh, you know it's kind of tough.
Speaker 2:It's obviously balanced on more of a negative than a positive, but uh, you know, in his time there again defensive minded coach, in his time with the Jets, you know their team has been first in points per drive, first in EPA per play and third in success rate, despite playing the fourth most snap. So really it just goes to point and show that really the the problem has been the offense, unfortunately. Uh, you know, thinking that Aaron Rodgers was going to change that, there's still hope for it, uh, but right now you know thinking back to their draft pace. You know you thinking that Aaron Rodgers was going to change that, there's still hope for it, but right now you know thinking back to their draft picks, you know you had Garrett Wilson, brees Hall and then before that Zach Wilson, elijah Moore, denzel Mims I mean you really got like two main offensive picks there that are going to make a change for it.
Speaker 1:Yeah no kidding. And I mean, and you also think the in 2000 or 2022, right, they had rookie of the year offense and defensively and those were Salah's picks. But then they get Rodgers and they trade their picks and he doesn't get to develop anyone. He doesn't get to. You know, I'm pretty sure they gave up a first-round pick, which I think it ended up being number 13, which wasn't anything crazy, but you still could have got some talent to build. And I mean, obviously you weren't building around Zach Wilson, he to build. And I mean obviously you weren't building around Zach Wilson, he was not the answer. But you know, right now the Jets are two and three and this was all over. I read it a few times, I heard it on the radio. But like, basically, if they win and they beat the Bills, they're actually first place in their divisions, in their division even at two and three right now, and they would move up to 500 and they could be first place in the division.
Speaker 2:I just don't think it was warranted. You know, I think that there was still a lot of season left to really kind of turn it around. I felt like this was maybe a little bit uh, you know uh linging over from the last season. You know, uh, obviously Aaron Webber is going out a lot of blame game and again goes to Zach Wilson not having the the record that you wanted to at the end of the season, then going in here being two and three. I don't know if I was Woody Johnson which I'm not, obviously I would have definitely kept him seeing if it would have turned around a little bit more. But they say good things about Ulbricht. They say that he's, you know, a players coach Obviously he was a forward player back in the day brings a lot of energy. I thought Robert Sala brought some energy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm really excited to see where he ends up. I think he I don't know if he goes back to the Niners and be like an assistant or an analyst or something like that. I mean maybe. But I mean it's this is such a terribly ran organization. It's. It's Woody Johnson picking Aaron. Look, he's got to like, stand by his. You know, like, hey, I put all my chips in on Aaron Rodgers, I got to stand by this. And if it's either Aaron Rodgers or Sala, I'm I'm getting rid of sala.
Speaker 1:And the biggest, like one of the things that you can take away from that is rogers has so much influence on this. I mean, when he got brought over, he got randall cobb, he got alan lazard. Um, they brought over nathaniel hackett. Like I mean rogers is running in the fucking show. He's lebron james right now for the like he's. He's like I don't really need a coach, like I'm running this shit, but it is Rodgers's fault. He's at times where he looks fantastic, but this last game he throws a pick six to what. I forget that guy's name. It's like it's something funny. He hinkled something or some shit like that. So it's a funny last name. I like that dude he's. He's. He's a wild white dude. Love the white dude. Linebackers gotta have that mindset, um.
Speaker 1:But rogers has a chance to go down and win the game and he throws another interception, his third interception of the game, and you know what it's. It's not a good throw. It's he has mike williams, who's? He looks like he's healthy. Mike williams looks like he's healthy and he's a big, fast receiver. He's six, three and you know two, something like two and some change and he under throws that ball. Throw that shit up there. Let him go get it or at least throw it out in front. I mean, he under threw it, threw it behind him, like it's.
Speaker 1:It was Rodgers's fault, um, and Nathaniel Hackett, like dude, you can't hack it, man. Um, you're giving the ball to Brees Hall. I think they ran the ball 14 times and threw over 40, like you have. Brees Hall, man, um, brees Hall has, I think, combined 10 points in the last two weeks in fantasy football, um, and he's had a total of 55 combined total yards, also the scrimmage yards, receiving rushing of 55 yards. So it's it's. It was definitely the offense was not solid, it was not the defense. The defense actually looks still really good. So let me ask you this Like does this move make sense now? Like you fire your head coach, does Devontae Adams make sense to bring on to the Jets? Like does that save the Jets? Is that their savior right now? I mean, where do you go?
Speaker 2:It really sucks is you have two perspectives to look at it. Right, you got the players perspective being Devontae Adams. Do you want to go to an organization that's like that? You know? Again, just to reiterate what you're saying he's with the Raiders right now saying but historically the Jets have not been that great, you know with.
Speaker 2:You know, coaching decisions, personnel pace, whatever the case may be Now from an organization standpoint, you know, of course you want Devontae Adams to go there, so you're going to put all your chips in the middle of the table as well. Yep, you know. Again, I think a good point that you brought up is in Nathaniel Hackett. I brought up is in Nathaniel Hackett. I don't have a lot of confidence in him. I didn't have a lot of confidence in him before. Uh, are you gonna, if Devontae Adams goes there is gonna be Rome to really kind of share the ball around again, brees Hall being a big letdown, you know, especially for early fantasy players, uh, or managers that picked him in the early rounds in top five.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean, and he was looking great at the beginning these last two games though, you're just's broken and he's not getting looks and he doesn't have good matchups coming up. He's got tough matchups coming up, to be fair, he's got the Bills and I think it was the Steelers after that. Those are some good run defenses. But if you're Devontae Adams you see we talked about this he wants to go play with somebody he's familiar with, aaron rogers, their car. But you look at those situations, like do you really want to go play with either one of those fucking bums? Like rogers? Again, he, I still think he has potential to do something well.
Speaker 1:Um, car, you don't, like I, I just don't see that. He's a, he's a waste of space, um, but if you're davante adams, like are you even thinking about one of these organizations right now? Because I think both of them have an outside chance of making playoffs, but honestly, they're not championship contenders. I mean the Jets a little bit more so, because their defense is much better, I feel. But like man, I, I just don't. I don't see it like you go at this point, if you're Devontae Adams, where can I go to win the Super Bowl, like that's?
Speaker 2:that would be my mindset well, and a good question to you would be you know, does Devontae Adams going to the Jets, for example, does it solve their offense problems? Does it get them a little bit closer to that? Uh, considering the division stat that you were saying a little bit ago, still being, you know, tough in their divisions? Uh, you know could get to a further point than I guess you could say with the saints, but does it take them over the top? It's a good question?
Speaker 1:I don't think so. I don't know, I don't know. So let's get into last week's games. It started out with a really fun game, thursday night football the bucks and the falcons. I got this prediction wrong. I actually said the bucks were gonna win and they had a chance. They absolutely did. But the falcons kurt, kurt, cousins the fourth quarter drive comes down the field and wins the ball game. Right, like I mean, that was wild, great game.
Speaker 1:B John Robinson was nowhere to be found, but if you had anyone else playing in fantasy football that week, my kicker had fucking 16 points. You know, like that shit was insane. Mike Evans he's just a red zone monster 23 points. Chris Godwin didn't score a touchdown, he almost did. He got stopped at the one-yard line but had a pretty decent game. Drake London had a game and if you're a fool like me, like I question my fantasy football ability, I dropped, I finally did it. I dropped Kyle Pitts. I fucking dropped his ass. Then he scores 19, 17, 19 points, something like that, and he has the best fantasy football game of his career. It was. It was a good game for fantasy football you know talking about questioning.
Speaker 2:You know your your fantasy football management. You know I had Drake London on my bench, so best career game that he's had, uh, you know, best fantasy football uh game. This a third of the points going to waste on my bench and you know you were right about the Kyle Pitts thing, like it was a really tough decision. You know we were talking about it there for a while. You had a couple options to go off of.
Speaker 1:I was distraught.
Speaker 2:And granted, it was a tough decision. And when you see that game on Thursday night and you see him start to go off a little bit, you're like wow, I made the, the you know a bad decision here. Uh, ended up working out for you uh, tyler craft.
Speaker 1:Right, is it tucker craft or tyler craft? I think it is. Whatever man craft t craft baby came in the clutch. Um, I'm not kidding. I came into work friday it was like I'm the worst fucking fantasy football player ever. I dropped kyle pitts and he went ham, so that I mean it was really a tough decision. I was like I thought I was going to regret it. But Kraft, my boy, came through two touchdowns maybe ended up coming through.
Speaker 2:But the only thing I got to say about Thursday night football, with the Falcons coming over to win, you know, and granted you know, I had players on both sides. I like the Falcons this year. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they continue to get their chemistry. But one thing I got to say in honor of Kurt Cobain's is man, I got that swag. My hand matches my back that's right, man, that's right.
Speaker 1:He came out. He didn't know what swag surfing was, and he knows now. So, and in the whole city, atlanta is like you, could you? I mean, that's their dude right now. Right now. My next matchup was the jets and and the vikings. We're going to touch on this just quickly, because we've already covered the jets so fucking much, you know, even though they're train wreck, uh. But the vik Vikings, they just did what they needed to do. They got three interceptions on defense. That defense is just rocking.
Speaker 1:Still, sam Darnold, actually, I think he didn't do shit for fantasy football. I think he had three points. Like it wasn't good. And, to be fair, we're both in two different leagues together, leagues together. You know, we have our work league and then we have the show me some titties league and the work league. I think he had three points or or less.
Speaker 1:Sam darnold, um, but justin jefferson, still a monster. Aaron jones got hurt. He didn't play. I think he got hurt in the first quarter or early in the second quarter and then he was out for the rest of the game. Um, they did just enough and maybe that shows how bad the jets are the game. They did just enough, and maybe that shows how bad the Jets are offensively, but they did just enough to get the win and the Vikings are still 5-0,.
Speaker 1:Who I picked last week as the best team in the NFL? I mean right now, with the Chiefs, what they did last night, it's really tough to pick and we'll get into our power rankings in a second. Now, caleb williams had himself a ball game and he is progressing every single week and he's you know, his weapons are healthy. Kenan allen uh, dj moore had two touchdowns and they look, and they look, fantastic. And then, goddamn, deandre swift dude, he's just balling out of his mind these last two weeks and he's just like, oh, the season started, my, my bad. Let me just turn this shit on really quick. And uh, right now they're humming like they're. He's just balling out of his mind these last two weeks and he's just like, oh, the season started, my bad, let me just turn this shit on really quick. And right now they're humming Like they're playing great. Again, it was the Panthers, but it gives you some confidence when you're seeing them just whoop up on somebody like that.
Speaker 2:It's good to see Caleb Williams progressing. You know that's what you want from the number one overall pick Obviously a pick. Obviously a lot of expectation has come uh, you know, being a good player right off the bat. But as long as you're going uphill, as long as you're progressing, you know it's good to see. I'm liking the connection that he's starting to get with dj moore to. Dj moore has been very, very frustrated with the quarterback play this season.
Speaker 1:You can see it all over his face yeah, no, and the next game was the game of the week. It was so fun to watch. I mean, this one had me on the edge of my seat. It went into overtime. Lamar Jackson did everything he could to lose the game by fumbling the ball and somehow the Ravens come up with the win against the Bengals. I think we both picked the Ravens in that game, but the Bengals man. I think, joe. What did Joe Burrow have 500?
Speaker 2:yards Like five touchdowns, 500 yards, something like that it was nuts.
Speaker 1:I think he was the number one quarterback in fantasy football this last week. That, right there, gives you confidence. You're playing a really good team. Yeah, you're at home, but to see that explosiveness on offense, that gives you hope. That is what we were kind of expecting and hoping to see through the first four games of the season from the Bengals. And right there they were clicking against a really good team.
Speaker 2:I think the good thing to see is is 100 that they're clicking together. He was actually at 392 yards, five touchdowns, one pick, um. But the best thing about it, I don't know where I got 500 from. It seemed like it. Right, he was throwing the ball out there, but uh, he was clicking with jamar chase and he was thinking with t higgins another bad, uh, fantasy football management thing. I had t higgins on my bed, you would have blown out taco.
Speaker 1:You would have absolutely just dusted them. If you would have had just a little bit of tweaks in your lineup, you could have. You would have beat them without a kicker. Just saying you could have done that. I'm actually excited to see if somebody does that. Like I'm not going to drop any players. Like I thought you were going to do that. I thought you were going to let it ride with no kicker. Um, you made a last minute move, but I'm excited to see if somebody does that in fantasy football where, like I'm not going to pick a kicker or I'm not going to pick up a defense because I don't want to drop anyone from my bench. It's really tough. Like these players right now, I'm like on my bench, I'm like I don't want to drop them, Like I mean, when push comes to shove, I'm like if I find myself in that situation, there's a good chance where I'm not picking up a defense, I'm going to let it ride and hopefully my team does just enough to win.
Speaker 2:It's tough when you have like a, you know, decently stacked team. You know I like to. I feel like my team is actually pretty good. You know, player wise I need to put them in the right positions. I've played Jaden Reed over you know any of those wide receivers there. I put Chris Godwin in thinking he was going to get at least a touchdown. Who would have it? Probably would have saved me a little bit. I think what really hurt was obviously having saquon on a bye week and then also, uh, jk dobbins, tony paul had on by week and having to play, uh, you know, justice hill off the waiver wire, which didn't do as much as I thought he would no, I and I thought he was going to do a lot more.
Speaker 1:To be fair, I thought he was going to be involved in the past the game, especially that high scoring game, you think he's going to do really well, um, but you know, it just didn't work out that way, man, and you have the same record as the Jaguars, so you guys coincide. I mean just saying that's why I'm 1-4.
Speaker 2:I really want to get behind my team.
Speaker 1:You know what I'm saying Die hard Jags, damn. That's some dedication, my friend. Next game was really good. Actually it wasn't that great. The Bills actually Shakur. Killian Shakur yeah, shakur man, I mean they missed him. You can tell they missed that explosive player, keenan. Who was it? Coleman?
Speaker 2:Keon.
Speaker 1:Coleman Keon. My bad, sorry brother. Sorry brother, but he finally has his best game of his rookie career. But the Texans, I think, I don't't know. I think I might have picked the bills to win this game. I'll double check but the texans, my dudes, keep rolling. Uh, cj stroud, my man, I almost traded you yesterday, not gonna lie, but ironically enough, it was for josh allen. That almost happened. That almost happened. I'm still working out some details, we'll see. Um, yeah, come on dog. Um, but the texans get the win. They were up to 4-1. The Bills dropped to 3-2. And again, the Jets win against the Bills next week. The Jets are actually in first place in the division. Your team, my friend. What a game 37-34. You know what man? Trevor Lawrence looked fine. The defense looked better, kind of.
Speaker 2:I mean I don't know, but a win's a win, that's all that matters. Yeah, I mean 34 points to joe flacco led team. You know I'm saying like we pulled it out, which is a good thing about it, but I gotta say brian thomas jr man, that man is a stud super happy that we got him. I'm really looking forward to see what he progresses to be uh, you know, but not just this year but over the next coming years like it's a perfect weapon for Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 1:The next game here was the Dolphins and the Patriots. Yikes, 15-10. Fucking bullshit, dude. Hopefully you didn't have any of those players on your team. I think Tyreek Hill had the most fantasy football points with 10. 10.8, I think it was trash. I mean, you guys, I'm just saying without Tua, this offense is just just there's nothing there. And then A-Chan, a-chan is, he's going out. I mean, do you roll with that rookie, the running back, wyatt or Raheem Mostert is back healthy. That was his first game back, so I think they kind of eased him into it. But I mean, honestly, if you have anyone on the Dolphins dolphins, I don't think there's anyone. You're like, yep, I'm gonna put them in my lineup, I'm gonna set and forget it, because right now tyreek hill and jaylen waddle they're not that. I cut, uh, jaylen waddle from our work league. I was like, dude, you ain't doing a damn thing. So you know, maybe down the road until it comes back, I might regret that, but right now I'm like, bro, you're just a waste of space, you. He wasn't doing a goddamn thing, so he got cut.
Speaker 1:Next game was look, and I'm still so impressed by Jaden Daniels. It was against the Browns and the Browns defense is pretty good. But Jaden Daniels and he came down to, you know, hit reality a little bit. I don't think he threw 80% Like he was averaging, you know, the first four games. I think he had a pick. I'm not sure if he had two. I think that one of them was overturned. He, he had a pick. But that dude, I mean he is absolutely balling out and there's no question he's the rookie of the year offensively anyway. So I love, love jaylen daniels. Um, what was it? Brian thomas? Two touch, two touchdowns on like 17 yards, or some shit like that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, let's take a look here. Yeah, taco, sending me texts over here talking about how he kicked my ass last week. Taco, sweet time to see you again, you son of a bitch.
Speaker 1:That's fucking funny. He's in there, he's laughing, he's fucking giggling back there man. But yeah, man, I mean again Taco getting his first win. He's on his high horse right now and he's like I'm taking and he plays me this week and he's like I'm taking you out. I'm like no, you ain't Like no, you're not, not this week. Let's get to our next matchup. We'll make it quick too. We'll just kind of run through these. But the Raiders with the Bron man, all of a sudden they looking legit 34 to 18 and Gardner Minshew throws two picks. Aoc. Aiden O'Connell comes in the game. He throws a pick too, like like the Raiders man they are not fucking good.
Speaker 1:I mean, jacoby Myers actually looked decent. He made some nice catches. Um, he's a. He's a decent player, but man it because you're playing on the Raiders dude, you guys are there's no hope, like. I mean, bo Nix is looking better. He's throwing some touchdowns now he got in an argument with Sean Payton and I guess it was. Bo Nix is like you're calling these plays and I'm checking them off and Sean Payton's like don't do that.
Speaker 2:And he's like I just threw a fucking 40-yard touchdown. Say some bitch I could. What are you gonna do about that man? You're a quarterback. Man bonix is a good player. You know that. You're a big yo yay so uh, honestly, if you can continue to do stuff like that, put up 34 points. You gotta do it now this next matchup.
Speaker 1:I did get wrong. I picked the 49ers to win this game, but the cardinals on the road get the dub. Um, not I mean christian mcafree being gone. You're really like, look and mason is playing. Totally fine, he's playing great. But there's a few plays where you're like, if that's mcafree, he's probably taking that to the house. There's a few of those moments where you're like, if that's mcafree with the ball right there and not mason, he's probably taking that one all the way and scoring the touchdown.
Speaker 1:Um, the cardinals, though, though I mean Marvin Harrison didn't have a huge game, but Tyler Murray that first touchdown he had was fucking dope. He was just like as soon as he broke free. He was in the clear. He was like as soon as he's like, I got this fucking touchdown. So they're both 2-3. They both have losing records.
Speaker 1:But the Niners you got to be a little concerned, because you're not getting McCaffrey back anytime soon. Where you know the Cardinals again, they were looking like complete shit, but you beat a quality team or at least we think they're a quality team in the Niners. So good for the Cardinals, bad for my predictions. It is what it is. On that one.
Speaker 1:Now, we did get this one right, the packers. It was a lot closer than I thought, but the packers get the win against the rams. Uh, jordan love, you know, found my boy craft two times man, and that's all that I needed, man, um. And then it's kind of the same thing with the rams. They have two, two at, well, that's doing decent for them, uh, but it's it's williams. The thing with the Rams they have two, two at. Well, that's doing decent for them. Um, but it's, it's Williams, the running back. That is their entire offense and there's not much else to it. I mean, they just, they just really isn't, and like until I mean, I think Cooper cup is actually scheduled back soon, ish, yeah, no, you know, I would say Puka Nakua. I'm not sure, dude.
Speaker 2:Puka. It's tough to see their offense be the way that it is. I mean, be so reliant on Kyra Williams again, with Cooper Cupp and Puka Nakua being out. But you know, man in an aging Matt Stafford.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I mean, those guys are in If they're healthy. I think it's actually a really good fucking offense. It's just not there. One of the biggest disappointments of the week. Man, I could not believe this shit. But the goddamn seahawks lost to the giants. They lost to the giants at home in seattle, to daniel jones and a malik neighborless giants, fucking wild dude. And I harped on it a little bit like the seahawks. Coming down to reality, the first three games you didn't play anyone good. And then, yeah, you lost to detroit. That is good, right, like detroit's a good team. But then you lose to the fucking giants at home. And I don't know what it is I get, it's a brand new coach coordinators. But man like you can't stop daniel fucking jones, danny dime, this is that's, and no, malik Neighbors, that shit's. Wild. Kudos to the Giants for coming in to Seattle and whooping that ass man. Pissed off Malik Neighbors, though without him, like I can't believe they fucking won that's insane.
Speaker 2:To me it's crazy, and that's with the Seahawks getting the 101-yard. You know. Pick six by Ray Sean Jenkins baby, baby, that's your dude man.
Speaker 1:Yeah, now that that was dope, uh. But I, I just I I'm so disappointed in the seahawks right now and I knew this shit was gonna happen. Gino smith, please get rid of the ball. Man, like, and you know, going into this game, right there he was like he has the most yards, most pass attempts, but why? You have kenneth walker who's not running the ball. You have zach charbonnet who's not running the ball very much. I mean, I get it.
Speaker 1:Ryan Grubbs came from the University of Washington where he coached in the national championship game and that was kind of the thing throwing the ball. They didn't run very much in Washington either, to be fair. But man, you guys are same thing wasting talent away. Dk Metcalf not having a great ball game. Um, dk metcalf, like not having a great ball game and like that defense.
Speaker 1:Look the defensive ends on the giants with brian burns and cave on tibido. That's a nice combo. Um, who's, who's their, their defensive tackle? Um, dexter, that's not. I think it. I think it's lawrence, but that dude, he was eating that, I mean it's. That's insane. If danny dimes can actually continue to just not fuck it up and not lose them the game, the Giants may not be that bad, and the only competition in their division, I think, is well, I mean, their division is a lot tougher than you think, because the Commanders are 4-1. You got the Eagles, and then them boys, them boys go to Pittsburgh and get the win by three points 20-17. I don't know, man. Um, they're talking about Russell Wilson actually being ready to play, and at three and two, do you pivot to Russell Wilson or do you leave Justin Fields in? Because I hate Russell Wilson too.
Speaker 2:I hate him you know, we asked that question last week and and honestly, even at this, with the loss, uh, you know, granted being a three-point loss, it's still a question to ask and I don't know again. There's a lot that goes into play. There's a lot of x factors, you know, chemistry being one of them. You know, really, to see how ready Russell Wilson is going to be. I feel like Justin Fields has been playing, you know, decent, you know, if not really good, some games and and that's coming from me, who I was banking on, justin Fields last year playing really good and he just, you know, fucked me over. Man, I can't believe it, but I don't know if I'm the sealers that keep going with justin fields. I feel like they still got a really good thing going over there, uh, but russell, weirdo dude.
Speaker 1:He says he's so damn corny, like I don't know how you're sitting in the locker room with this cheese ball and fucking just like, yeah, let's, let's rally behind this guy, he's going to lead us to victory. And like, dude Russell man, he just keeps coming up with these slogans yeah, like, what was the? He had the Subway commercial where he had this little fucking slogan Obviously, broncos Nation, let's ride. And now, like he's got this new thing where he's like the quest for seven, or win number seven, and he's referring to the Steelers winning their seventh super bowl. And I'm like, bro, will you just shut the fuck up and play football? Like, like, again, I'm this is the second time I brought up lebron james but like, shut up and dribble, bro. Like, fucking, just go play ball. These, these slogans, these weird, the weird shit that you're doing. Shut up, dude, just go play some football. Show us that you're any good. Right, you're still getting paid a fuck ton of money from the Broncos. Just go earn it. Go show any kind of sign that you're still a decent person, because you're an absolute cornball. You really hate this guy, dude. I'm sorry you left Seattle.
Speaker 1:And look what happened, dude. Look what happened. Yeah, it changed us as well as the team. People were like, oh, geno Smith's good, no, he ain't like I have. Russell wilson wasn't any better, but it's gotten worse, where geno smith got a nice, nice contract and russell wilson looks like he's got one of the worst wasted contracts of all time, like. So the last game was monday night. We touched on it. The saints are trash. Uh, they start. They might start spencer rattler as quarterback going forward because, uh, derrick carver's going to be hurt with the oblique injury and the Chiefs are the second undefeated team. They're 5-0 with the Minnesota Vikings. And you know, just wait until the Chiefs get Pacheco back, man, once they really get. I mean Hunt did great, right, I mean Hunt, I mean not bad. I think he had over 100 scrimmage yards as well, like he did great. But imagine if you get Pacheco back, who's just an absolute wrecking ball.
Speaker 2:Look, and you know we touched base on it at the beginning of last season. You know, kareem Hunt he's a dirtbag right had his issues off the field, dirtbag. There is something to be said about having a second chance for all players and you know, at the end of the day he's still a good football player. But, you know, are you happy for him, are you not? I don't know to be honest with you, but again, isaiah Pacheco coming back is going to be good. I'm excited about the Spencer Rattler thing. Only because and I don't wish any ill will on anybody, you know I am going to say, though, derek Carr couple more with legal injury, you know, for fantasy purposes, uh, you know, said blake hainer, right, or whatever his name is, jake jake. Jake hainer, uh, had two targets to chris alave, uh, when he came in towards the end of the game. And derrick car had two targets to chris alave, and the whole time he was in there. You know, I'm hoping for better fantasy.
Speaker 1:I mean chris alave, dude. I mean, he is such a stud I. He's an amazing receiver and he's just not, it's not being showcased as like what we thought it was going to be with Derek Carr. You know, just, it's just, it's not coming to fruition at all.
Speaker 1:Um, but you know, speaking of the Chiefs being 5-0 and the Vikings being 5-0, I kind of want to go over, like over who's your top five teams in the NFL. I wrote down a couple that I think are even in contention. So I'm going to run through, just run through the list, not in any order, and then I kind of want you to power rank them. So right now, these are the worst teams out of the list that I have, I believe. So I have the Bills, 3-2. I have the Ravens. The same Texans are 4-1. The Chiefs are 5-0. The Commanders are 4-1. The Vikings are 5-0. And then Detroit had a bye week, but they're 3-1. So right now, who would be? I mean, I don't know how you want to do it if you wrote this down or not, but in what order you want to go through. You can go one through five, five through one.
Speaker 2:I think I'll start one through five, just because I feel like it's going to be a little bit easier. And, to be honest, I had a lot of these same teams on my list, even as the faces and honorable mention. So I got hate to say, I know, last week we said that the Vikings are the best team in football. How long is this going to last? For Right, sam Darnold didn't have a great game last game, you know. Obviously, the offense, you know, has a lot of weapons and and I'm curious to see how they come out of that bye week, with Aaron Jones, the defense, brian Flores has him playing some good D. No, diddy, you know, I think he's doing his thing and I'm glad to see it.
Speaker 2:Honestly, even with Danielle, danielle Hunter, you know, being away from the team, going over to the Texans, you know they're still doing really well, um, but the Chiefs man, the Chiefs are so balanced I keep saying it all the time I love, uh, you know, steve Spagnola, I think that he's doing his thing with the defense over there. Uh, you know, just has the right timing on pressures, right timing on blitzes. Uh, you know, and that offense, like, I'm curious to see how it's going to be without Rashi Rice, but hey, juju Smith had himself a game, 100 yard game. Had himself a game last game. Maybe he steps into that Rashi Rice role and then Travis Kelsey and Pat Mahomes, as much as sometimes they're not connected all the time. This last game was a showcase to say that you know, travis Kelsey is still going to get his, even with a struggling Pat Mahomes. I don't think he got a touchdown until towards the end of the game where yeah, but I mean he was looking for Travis Kelsey.
Speaker 1:Travis Kelsey ended up with 20 fantasy football points.
Speaker 2:Force feeding him the whole time. So I'm going to go with Chiefs as number one. For sure that's going to put Vikings number two with 5-0. Again, how long can they keep that up? I'm curious to see it. How long can Sam Darnold really keep it up is kind of going to be the question there. So, 2-0 for Vikings, not too much to say on that. Lions at 3-1. I do think that Lions are going to be my third team right now. I know that they're coming off the bye week, but they're so balanced I think that the defense is good. They have a lot of studs on defense. I was upset that the Jaguars didn't pick them last year. Brian Branch I'm a big fan of Brian Branch from Alabama. 100%, they have the other corner. Is it Teron Arnold that they picked up this? This?
Speaker 1:uh, and granted, he's had a couple penalties, a couple, bro, that guy's like the most penalty penalized guy besides your other favorite, jawan Taylor for the for the Chiefs man, bro, that dude, he could. He could not stop holding dudes, man, but he's, he is a good player.
Speaker 2:He is a good player it's the same thing with Jax man, so sometimes I'm glad to see him gone, but you know he's a good tackle. I will say that Fair Studs on defense and obviously studs on offense. Right, you got Jared Goff, who still has more receiving touchdowns than Travis Kelsey. You got Jameer Gibbs Demo Hell of a one-two punch, probably the best one-two punch in the game right now so far. And then obviously Amon Ross St Brown. You know Jamison Williams doing his thing. I think he has the most receiving yards.
Speaker 2:On the Lions so far. Right now, the offense over them is 7th in passing, 6th in rushing and they're 6th overall in third down efficiency, with 45.8% on third down. Let's go, lions, one pride baby 100%. 4th and 5, I feel like, are interchangeable for me. Okay, and it's kind of hard to really make a decision. I think this next week is going to be the decider on what that looks like. I would say right now, fourth would be Texans, given that they're four and one. I know they barely made it out of this last matchup here, but they're still looking really good offensively, Even with Nico Collins going out this week.
Speaker 2:I'm curious to see how it goes for cj stroud. I didn't have the best game, last game either, uh, but you got a lot of weapons in tank, dale. Hopefully they start to incorporate him a little bit more. Uh, stefan days is going to be doing stefan date things. Yeah, he did great all here and there. Uh, and I'm curious to see how it looks when they get joe mixon back. Gotta keep in mind joe mixon has not been playing and it a it's an ankle injury.
Speaker 1:Is it like a high ankle? Yeah, I think it's a high ankle injury.
Speaker 2:You know, Cam Akers stepped in, did his thing here this week, but when they get Joe Mixon back it's going to be tough to stop that run. And then their defense again. Oh man, I love that defense, you know, no diddy.
Speaker 1:Will man, we'll see how it goes with the new coach, kalen deborah, who I fucking hate. I hate, you hate that guy man. I mean, look, I got a lot of hatred against, against I guess a lot of people man, I never knew. I thought I was a pretty likable, lovable guy, but I hate a lot of motherfuckers, man like no skin on my back, brother, I feel you 100 there's.
Speaker 2:Sometimes you just can't help but hate them. That's right, chiefs is one of those play and, uh, one of those people, that's true, the fifth being baltimore at three and two. Uh, you know, I feel like they're getting more and more chemistry as time goes. I know early in the season it was like line issues. I feel like they're starting to pick that a little up, a little bit and you can't hate. But see derrick henry do it really really well over there. Man, I think it was more of an underrated pickup than people think right now. Derrick hen Henry has 95 rushing attempts, 572 yards on six touchdowns. That's through five games. He's halfway to 1,000.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that is insane. And he was actually held in check that whole game until the very end. I think it was actually in overtime where he busted out that huge run and I was playing Daniel. I was like please don't score, please don't score, please don't score. And he barely got tackled at the one two-yard line. They get in Tucker, they win the game.
Speaker 1:So just off of this list that you left off on the seven that I wrote down. So the Commandos 4-1, they're not in your top five. The Bills with Josh Allen they're not in your top five. Now I'm going to be honest, I'd probably leave them off too. Even with the Commanders being 4-1, if you put them up against one of these teams, I don't see them, like Jaden Daniels, having that success. I don't think that team with the Commanders. I love Bobby Wagner I mean, he's a Seahawk for life but I don't think the Commanders are better than any of those teams. And I don't think the Bills. The Bills have already lost to the Ravens, they've already lost to the Texans. So like fair, very fair.
Speaker 2:Well, to your point. That's the reason why I have them off the team. So sixth honorable mention really would be the Commanders. But this is why I'm saying I think it's going to come into next week to really see if they'd be ranked in the top five. They're going against the Ravens this week and that's going to be a tough matchup to see if they really do. I think Jaden Daniels is still going to do really well. The question mark isn't really so much on the offense for me as much as it is on the defense, to be completely honest with you. And then for the Bills started off 3-0, have lost the last two. Got to see what they end up doing here the next couple weeks.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you're not right. So let's just go through like a quick preview for next week and then we'll jump into our fantasy league. Thursday night football. So it's kind of. And they did the Seahawks wrong. So I think when I was reading this, they are playing three games in 11 days Crazy. So that's the Monday night football game the Sunday night, and now they play on a Thursday night and they play against the 49ers.
Speaker 1:This one's tough, like I'm not just going to go Seahawks because I'm a Seahawks fan, because, like again, you think they're going to win against the Giants and if they win against the Giants I probably do pick them in this game. But the 49ers, I mean again, they still have Studs, they still have Bosa, they still have Warner De'Alanor Lenore is a savage with that scoop and score touchdown. Love that dude. Go Ducks, it's at home, it's in seattle. Again, you think that would give them the edge. But it didn't prove, you know, didn't come out to be that, you know, to fruition last week against the giants. But you know, the 49ers, they're still struggling. I'm gonna go ahead and I won't pay the seahawks on this one, I'll be honest I'd love to see the seahawks win on this one.
Speaker 2:I think it's going to be a tough matchup, but man nfc west is looking like a you know real the trenches.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then let's see. So the first matchup here, your Jaguars against Caleb Williams and the Bears in Chicago. Let's go, caleb Williams is doing pretty good, he's doing pretty well, like again, he's progressing, his team is progressing. I'm going to be honest man, I'm going to pick the Bears. Duh Bears, duh Bears. Picking the Bears.
Speaker 2:This is where it comes back into play about the whole like cursing and stuff. Like that man, You're picking against the Jaguars. I really hope that this time it doesn't work. I really Jaguars, come up and beat. I am going to be up at 6.30 in the morning. I am going to be watching the Jaguars play in London. Historically, they've done really well in London, so you got to take that in mind.
Speaker 1:Aren't? They usually considered the home team, so it's weird that they have the Bears listed as the home team. London is Jaguars, the London Jaguars bro Like straight up dead ass. So that's going to be fun to watch. I will be watching that game. It's super early in the morning but I think this is the game of the week. And you mentioned it the commanders at Baltimore playing the Ravens. Two exciting athletic running I almost said running backs, but quarterbacks Jaden Daniels sorry, lamar, but yeah man, I mean, this one's going to be tough but ultimately it's in Baltimore.
Speaker 1:I really do think home field advantage does benefit. To be fair, it gives you like a three-point edge, I feel like. But the Commanders have been playing lights out Defensively. They struggle. It's a young defense. Most of their talent, or most of their key players, I think, are on offense. I am going to go ahead and pick the ravens in this one to beat the commanders and the commanders will fall down to four and two.
Speaker 1:Next match up here is the cardinals versus the packers. Look, I got craft as my starting tight end now, man, so like. I've actually never really liked. We had an old boss and we've had some friends that were packer fans. Those dudes used to drive me goddamn nuts man, and the rivalry between the Packers and the Seahawks. Man, that shit was crazy. But I'm going to go ahead and pick the Packers in this game 100%. Jordan Love's a stud man, jordan Love, baby.
Speaker 1:Now this one should be an easy win for the Texans. They play the Patriots at the Patriots. But Drake May is getting his first start. Um, I'm interested to see, because Jacoby Brissett has been getting hit all like every, every game, all game long. Um, drake Mays is definitely more athletic than than Jacoby Brissett, but he's gonna get fed to the wolves with those two defensive ends just coming at him all game long. Doesn't matter if it's a New England, texas is gonna win that game. Now, this is a fun matchup, or it was. But the Buccaneers versus the Saints. I'm really excited to see Spencer Rattler come out there. And again, it's in New Orleans, it's in the Mercedes-Benz, whatever. Oh, it's the Caesar Superdome. That's what it is. That's an out, yeah, but if they can just shut down Kamaru anything that happened to him last week the Bucks should win. Mike Evans is going to score me two touchdowns. Maybe Chris Godman is going to get in. He almost scored, bro. He almost scored man.
Speaker 2:I'll take one for sure, but Vita Vea in the middle is going to be tough.
Speaker 1:They got Vita Vea and then what's his name? Phil Gaines. Those are some big motherfuckers, dude. Like you ain't pushing that around Like easy, like combined they're what? 700 pounds or something close to that. Like that's wild. Those are the two defensive tackles. Now the Browns play the Eagles. Easy win for the Eagles. Like I don't think there's any question. I mean, the Browns are just hot garbage man. I can't stand Deshaun Watson, dude. You think about his Houston days and it's just not there and it's not coming back. I just don't see it. I just don't see it with Deshaun Watson. I think it's a wrap for him and they just have to fall on the sword and just ride with him.
Speaker 2:I guess I see him unmotivated sometimes. I know there was like a a little bit spark going on for the viral video of him walking off the field for the delay game. Uh, granted, to clear it up, there was 12 men on the field. It wasn't that he didn't want to go for it. On fourth down uh, in the end zone, in the red zone, I think it was fourth and goal. But at the end of the day, you know, I'm making something happen, I'm getting a spark going in my offense. You know, even if it's fourth and seven, you know fourth and goal, whatever, bring me back in there, let's make something happen.
Speaker 1:Fucking bum. What a weirdo man. Yeah, I think he just settled his other lawsuit, the lawsuit that sexual assault just came out. I think he settled that. He was like they were asking for like a cool million or something like that. Like you want this in cash Check, do you take debit and credit there? Do you take debit and credit there? Do you take debit and credit? Man, we got that zero and 1%. You know so. But next matchup go ahead. Colts Titans, who you got.
Speaker 2:You know I was looking at this stat earlier today and it was kind of crazy to see. I do think that the Colts are going to keep rolling a little bit. Joe Flacco, I think, has amazing chemistry with some of the receivers. You know Michael Pittman really likes him a lot. Alec Pierce, deep threat. I think. He had three receptions for. You know, close to 100 yards, if not over 100 yards. It's crazy to see it, but the Titans are the number one pass defense right now.
Speaker 1:Oh, okay, I like that. So I mean I think I'm going to ride with the Colts, whether it's Joe Flacco or Anthony Richardson, I think they just have a little bit more on the offensive side of the ball Divisional game and I love it. The chargers play the broncos. I love this game. I fucking love it. Justin herbert versus bo fucking nicks. I'm gonna be all over this game. You know it's gonna be tough for me to decide but honestly, I think the broncos defense is the deciding factor. I'm gonna go ahead and pick against herbie Justin herbert and I'm gonna go ahead and pick bo nicks and the bron, herbie Justin.
Speaker 2:Herbert and I'm going to go ahead and pick Bo Nix and the Broncos. Yeah, I think it's going to be nice to see. I was looking to see the up base. I think we're going to get them tomorrow to see if the tackles are going to be in Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt. I think if Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater come back, or even if one of them come back, it builds a little bit more on the offense with the running game, me being a jk dobbins owner.
Speaker 1:uh, you know I want that I was hoping you're gonna drop him definitely not dropping jk now.
Speaker 2:It's gonna drop tony paul before I do that. But at the end of the day you're 100 right. I think the offense is rolling a little bit for the broncos. Uh, defense can be decided 100.
Speaker 1:Now this game right here. Look, if russell wasn't plays, I'm gonna go ahead and actually pick the raiders. If he if justin fields plays'm going to pick the Steelers. So we'll see how that goes. I'm going to go ahead Right now. Justin Fields is supposed to be the starter, so I'm going to go ahead and pick the Steelers on that one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think you're 100% right. If Justin Fields plays, it's going to be really rough with the Raiders. I saw that Christian Wilkins is going on IR, so that defensive line really only have Matt Crosby on there. You know a lot of injuries on defense is going to be interesting to see Steelers is going to win that one though.
Speaker 1:Yep Falcons versus the Panthers and this one's in Carolina. But if I think this one, this game is going to be, bijon is actually going to get a lot more involved in the game. I don't think they're going to be. They're going to have to pass very much. So this is one of those games where, like yeah, you're encouraged by Drake London, even Kyle Pitts, like you know, they were so involved in the passing game but they also had to to keep up to stay in the game. Or this one, I think it's going to get ugly early and I think they're going to rely on the running game. I think Tyler Ives here is going to get plenty of touches, but the Falcons, they should win this game pretty easily, actually against swagsurfing baby. Uh, lions, lions, cowboys in dallas. I like this game but I'm gonna go ahead. I'm just a homer bro, like you know, panay sewell, my one of my favorite players too. So you know I'm just picking, picking and working ducks all day.
Speaker 2:Baby go, lions, one pride, yeah, I think the lions win this one, I think it's gonna be a good matchup. Obviously that uh, with the weather conditions that were this last game, they had to rely uh on the ground ball a lot. You know I'm saying so. Cd didn't get as much as he did. There's a little controversy with them on the on the bench. I don't know if you saw that video that was funny, you know.
Speaker 1:So, reading some of the comments like who does lip reading, and then just reading some of that shit, I think what he was saying was jump ball, number four. I got you, bro, like jump on man. But I saw some outlandish shit man about what was being said and, you know, even if it was some crazy ass shit, he probably wasn't wrong. Just just, just to be fair. But lions, I got the lions winning in dallas.
Speaker 1:Um, the sunday night game is the bangles versus the giants in um metlife stadium in east rutherford, new Jersey. Go figure. But the way the Bengals were playing, joe, he's back, baby, joe, he's back baby. And I think they're going to roll. I don't think the Giants are going to repeat and win this game. So I'm going to go ahead and pick the Bengals in this game, all right. Monday night football ends with the Bills playing the Jets. Do you think the Jets just turn it on now that they don't have robert? Robert solid. They're like you can't say let's win this one for the coach, because he ain't there no more, and the bills?
Speaker 2:they really need this game because the jets could move into first fucking place, man I think that if they do rally behind a coach, it's going to be behind obre trying to get his first win. Uh, as an interim head coach, again being a like a player's coach is going to be interesting to see. But I think that the Bills get a win in, you know one in the win column here on this one end up showing why they're the Bills and why they've had success.
Speaker 1:You know, and it's great for some of the teams that we didn't you know in our power ranking, because the bye week teams are the Dolphins Thank God we don't have to watch them play this week the Vikings, the Rams week uh, the vikings, the rams and the chiefs. So the two undefeated teams both have bye weeks. So let's get into our show me some tds fantasy football league. And the first matchup it's my matchup, it's me, the oh baby, I like it raw versus daniel's team, vikings, here to kill. I don't know where he got that thing because he's not a vikings fan, he's a seahawk fan, whatever. But my team gets the win.
Speaker 1:I make the moves at the right, you know, made the right moves. Technically, kraft actually outscored Pitts. So it would have been a lot closer of a game if I would have had Pitts in. But I get the job done 156 to 145. Fuck you, daniel. I told you I was going to beat you, my friend, and now let's make a trade. Like you know, this beef is over. Let's make a trade, man. I mean, we almost had a deal. I was this damn.
Speaker 2:I'm available for a trade, daniel, you let me know, let's make a trade.
Speaker 1:Now, the homies, the cade and zach zach, the fuck happened, dude. You had the lowest, uh, was he the lowest? No, he was the second to lowest by literally one point, um, but it was 108 to 88. Cade gets the win. And you know, it's funny about this matchup, man, because again they're friends, um, but, zach, dude, your team actually ain't that good man, and you guys made a trade. It's funny. You guys play each other and now you want to make a trade. It's funny because, like, I just played Daniel and I'm trying to make a trade, but you guys make a trade for Bijan Robinsoninson and breeze hall. You guys kind of just swap players. That's cool and all, but I think I think kade was buying at the wrong time. Bijan robinson actually has some really good matchups coming up in fantasy football wise, where breeze hall does not. Um, breeze hall is actually again, he had a total of 55 total yards in the last two games combined where Bajon yeah, he's having a little bit of a lull, um, not scoring super crazy points in fantasy football, but at least he's hitting you 10 points, at least he's getting you 10 points, man. So, um, cade gets the win in that one. Sorry, zach, like this shit wasn't for you. Um, but nick, damn it man. And we called this game. So so far, I called myself. I did pick kade. You know I I hate picking kade. Um, and then I called this matchup. We both, we. I mean I think we're we're three and all right, now we're not picking them.
Speaker 1:Last week but nick played, uh, tim, tim. First of all, I had that. I'm still eating that same sauce baby, I'm on that sauce man. Cilantro crema, cilantro crema, baby. Had that shit on some tamales today. The shit was delicious, I mean that's. I put that shit on almost everything right now. He's gonna sell it soon. He's gonna have a show me some tds label on the fucking can. Right, I'll work that. I worked that out.
Speaker 1:Um, but tim, you do not get the job done. Um, and nick goes. I mean, and this is what I think, one of his lowest scoring weeks with 117 um. But I mean he gets the job done, he still, his team is stacked. Dude, like it pisses me off how good his team is. And um, and it's crazy because he had keenan allen that only scored him six points. But you know, his team is rolling. I can't wait till they play each other, chris and nick, because, yeah, it's gonna be nice. Like I'm tired of both of them. They're like let's make a trade, but you know his team is rolling. I can't wait until they play each other, chris and Nick, because yeah, it's going to be nice. Like I'm tired of both of them. They're like let's make a trade and then they won't. They ain't doing shit, man.
Speaker 2:Like, if you're 5-0, you probably ain't going to make a trade. You're doing something right. Whatever, I'm still waiting on.
Speaker 1:I'm about to go over there. So, to be fair, I haven't drank in 36 days. I'm hoping to make it to 50. I'm hoping to make it to 50, but there's no guarantee. But look, this is how it's going to work. I'm going to go over, we're going to have some beers and then all of a sudden we're like damn dude, I just traded my whole team to you and you traded that team to Nick. It's going to happen. I'm waiting to see that. We're going to make that shit happen. And then we've already touched base on this a little bit.
Speaker 1:But Taco gets his first win of the season. And what was the final score? Man, 17 points for the win. Ah shit, I keep fucking skipping over it. Anyway, it was 1-16. 1-16 to 1-0-1. You should have won that game. Bottom line is you should have won that game. You had some major points left on your bench. It is what it is.
Speaker 1:We are terrible fantasy football managers. We're just not that good. And then chris I'm gonna look this up because this might be a record he beats, he beats last year's champion, two-time champion, um, about to go for his three. Not, it's not looking good for the three p, because chalupa batman is oh and five. Yeah, he is the worst team in our fantasy football league. Man and Chris is fucked up. Dude, you put 191 on him. That might be the highest that we've ever scored in our standard PPR league. I mean, this is absolutely the highest this season. I'm gonna have to check. I'm not sure if anyone cracked the 200 mark, but that's as close as it's gonna get. And Chris moves to 5-0. Shit is wild 191 is insane.
Speaker 2:I gotta give a shout out to chris man and you know, for as much crap as we used to give james about this, you know own five not the best start. Maybe this gets him a little spark, but maybe that magazine that you picked this year wasn't the right year you picked.
Speaker 1:You looked at 2023s bro, you picked you, you picked the wrong one, that's all I gotta say to say. And like Chris's team, it went absolute. Ham. Lamar Jackson 33 points. Let's see Swift, another 20-point game after following his 40-point game. Jamar Chase with 41. Nico Collins had 15 points and he played only the first quarter. I believe. 15 points, bowers tied in for the Raiders. He's a stud. He's going to be wasting away on the goddamn Raiders dude. And then your boy, brian Thomas 22 points. Man, that was a beautiful run. 80, 85 yard touchdown, Something like that was crazy. And then his kicker scores him 13 points, man. So your team just went absolutely off the charts. You would have beat absolutely everyone in our league this week.
Speaker 1:I really can't wait to see them play each other. Honestly, at this point I kind of hope when they do they're both undefeated. So it's not going to happen. I mean, I kind of do at this point, I kind of want to see it. So let's take a quick look at that. We'll make our quick pick-ums and we'll wrap this shit up. So I do play taco. Here's the thing. Yes, I'm tooting my own horn. I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna beat you. But here's the real reason why. Right, patrick mahomes, travis kelsey, bye week. Win for me, easy, easy. Win for me.
Speaker 2:Just I'm just saying it's gonna happen here's what happens when you trade away CJ Stroud. You have no backup quarterback. You got two of your best players, two of the players that honestly won you the week last week, going on a bye week. Who are you going to replace him with? Got to drop some valuable players to be able to do that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is fun because this next matchup here is Cade is actually projected to win 112 to 109, so it's not a big deficit. Uh, kate did just pick up um breeze hall, so it is what it is there. I don't think he's gonna do that well. So just just for shits and giggles, I'm gonna go ahead. I'm gonna pick sa chris. Chris, let's go. Man, I think you're gonna get the win over kate.
Speaker 2:Fuck you, kate look, I'm a hater, you know. I'm saying my team is obviously not doing that. Well, I'm one of four. Uh, you know, I'd love to see an undefeated team lose, just so I could have a little bit of a closer chance to get to going up in the standing. Kate is, however, in the same league or division as I am, so, uh, you know, as much as I'd like to see uh kate win this, I'm changing my answer and I'm hoping that kate, and kate's team does look a lot better that.
Speaker 1:He's got bruce hall now. Uh, james connor is doing just fine. Then he's got cd lamb, who didn't do much but always has that potential. Uh, harrison, who again didn't do much, but I mean his team, he, he could do some damage, but I'd be excited, I'm excited to see if nico collins plays or not, because that's a big, big difference maker. Um, but yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and pick chris on this one because I want to see that matchup. So, nick, you play nick.
Speaker 1:So you're right, you don't want to see them have an undefeated, undefeated matchup I said that I see that and right now and I don't know if he's had any people on bi-week, it looks like he does because he's at only projected 97 right now.
Speaker 2:My man, my man are you gonna get the job done? I want to hear you say it first. You better not curse me. Let me see what's gonna happen.
Speaker 1:Hey, fuck it sorry nick, I'm gonna go ahead and pick my man, edwin, to win this game, baby, let's go.
Speaker 2:I got you something that target was on sale. It's awesome, baby.
Speaker 2:It's real nice real nice, so we were talking a little bit of crap early in the season. I know my team hasn't gone out to the best start that it has. Uh, that it could. To be honest with you. I told him, nick, just wait until I see you in our matchup. Super glad that this week Kyron Williams is on a bye. He is, so he's going to have to make up with it a little bit. I'm still curious to see if Malik Nabors plays. I know he probably will clear a concussion protocol. Hopefully Seahawks defense shuts him down.
Speaker 1:Bro, you got this Jefferson's on a bye as well.
Speaker 2:Man, you got this. Here's the thing, though. Again, just got to be able to manage my team. I'm hoping that my team does well this week.
Speaker 1:Hands down, all right, so this is the battle of like the worst two teams in our fantasy football league. Tim, sorry man, your team is decent. James, your team is not. Like. James, I don't know what you got to do. I think he's got some key and some players hurt. Whatever it is man, but I mean again, alexander Madison was his starting running back last week. Travis Etienne is questionable. He's got Tyreek Hill Like. His team is just not that good right now, like his best player is the San Francisco 49er defense, like and that's, you know, that's it's not much. Okay, yeah, he's got Joe Mixon and then he's got Devontae Adams, but I, I mean so eventually James will. He's not gonna have a win this season, right, although I would be kind of happy to see that. That'd be crazy. That'd be the very first time. No, like somebody's with the whole season without winning a game. That shit would be hilarious, from actually first to worst, and he still might be first to worst champ to chump baby.
Speaker 2:Yeah, see it, but uh, yeah, I mean it honestly. You got to see Devontae Adams. I don't know if he's going to play this week, right? Joe Mixon still clutching both of these people.
Speaker 1:Devonta Adams, I mean he's still technically on the Raiders. He's not on a new team yet.
Speaker 1:He's a free agent almost pretty much, yeah, pretty much, you ain't wrong. Anyway, that is our show. That was our Show. Me, some TDs. This is our second episode. I promised it following week. Um, I'm hoping next week. If you're free, make it happen and I'm working on it. You fucking bums. Chris was saying like I want to be on the show. It's been a while. Oh, what time you ain't here. You, yeah, what time you ain't here. Zach wants to be on the show, but I don't know if the logistics work out with that. Kade wants to be on the show and I I talked to his lady last time. We that we met up. He's free, he just don't show up man that's crazy, he just don't show up.
Speaker 1:Man, that's crazy, Bro. Like you can't even be. Like, oh, I'm doing something with my lady or she won't. Let me Nope, Talk to her. She say go ahead, that's on you, homie, so no excuses. Like I can do that shit. Like, oh, my wife, my kids, Not you, she straight up. So hopefully we get some people back on the show next week. Whatever man, we rocking this shit anyway.
